in A & F: MARKET IN MCCARREN PARK

Post image for What's New From Who @ McCarren

Summer Shizzle hits this Saturday. So whether you're strolling the Green Market, visiting the folks at OSA or looking for a leisurely hang out/check out spot, we've got some highly unusual suspects on tap tomorrow just for you.

Alicia p Flowers By Ed takes a wickedly refreshing spin that makes comics, kitsch and assorted items from the pop culture landscape into must-wear, must-have merch (like the Beverly Hills 90210 hoop earrings at left). We saw them, we touched them and we said holy smoke, Batman! this stuff screams Williamsburg! Check them out Saturday. These folks are on to something.

Designs By Alicia P. does wearable art one better with one-of-a-kind hand-painted clothing, jewelry and accessories. Suede & beads & stitching – oh my! (above right).

Sparkle Farm is the name of the outfit that results when you take heart, soul and pixie dust and throw them together and what have you got? That's right: bejewelled finds that beg to be touched and worn.

Wicked

Wicked World is Betine Wasserman's edgy alt-accessory brainchild. These custom, one-of-a-kind pendants run the gamut of kitsch, chic, cuddly and thought-provoking. All are just downright fun – see left.

Newcomer Marne Meisel joins the fray in McCarren with irresistible accessories including some killer items made out of infant clothes. Get your belt a new buckle, your butt a new pillow or your benjamins a new clip right here.
