A little love to go around this weekend at the Market in McCarren after all the bummer weather and even bummier news about MJ. Nothing to pick you up like a stroll in the park and some thrilling finds to be procured at the hands of some creative and artistic dynamos strutting their stuff.

Start it off with handmade, one-of-a-kind tees, onesies and bags for people big and small care of Gnorasaurus. There's a bit of magic to be found in each piece that creative mastermind Kathy and her monkey muse Nora work up – "recycling" some classic concepts from the 1950s and 1960s and giving them new life in the next generation of trendsetters this side of the East River.

Newcomer Zoe Accessories has the fine tradition of jewelry-making in her blood drawing inspiration at a young age from the treasure trove of leftover beads, metals & stones that lay around her grandparents' basement from their Roger Van S line of accessories during the second half of the last century. These amazing creations all beg to be touched, worn and shared (pictured below, right).

Kim Last Designs enters the fray with pieces that reflect the modern American girl. Youthful and chic, vibrant and organic, delicate and playful – this debut collection has a lot of appeal to make you go yeah-yeah (below, center). 

Rounding out the crew of fabulous fashionistas are Eun Biee Jung Jewelry's breathtaking objects of wearable art (see below, left) Golden Plum Designs and Ximena Designs – jewels, rings, sarongs and more. Oh my!
